BACnet on the move – efficient building automation in Italy
BACnet is an open communication standard, which has been specially developed for building automation. It is independent of manufacturers; it does not need a licence. BACnet is versatile in use and ensures dataflow across the board from the management level to digital control systems right up to sensors and actuators. This gives rise to economic benefits, investment security and an advantage in installation, extension and operation.
Since the BACnet 2003 protocol was standardised as ISO 16484-5 throughout the world, there has been an increase in the interest shown in this global language for building automation. The BACnet forum presents the successful history of standardisation and the success factors of modern building automation with BACnet. It shows how BACnet contributes to the added value of property and gives practical information for planning and implementing BACnet solutions.
The programme is designed for building experts from industry, the service sector and administration, from operators, investors and architects, planners, consultants and BACnet users, representatives of the construction, installation and property industries as well the manufacturers of building automation and control technology.
